Job Title: Android Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Android Architect to join the team supporting Apple via Infosys. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Android application architecture, design, and development with the ability to provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and deliver scalable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement high-level Android architecture and frameworks.

Collaborate with Apple teams to define application requirements and technical solutions.

Ensure best practices in performance, security, and scalability.

Review code, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers.

Stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of software development experience, with at least 6+ years in Android.

Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, MVVM/MVI patterns.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, Retrofit, and third-party integrations.

Expertise in mobile architecture patterns, dependency injection, and modular app design.

Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Gradle, and testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in a large enterprise environment (Apple experience preferred).

Knowledge of Swift, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks.

Cloud integration experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
