Job Title: Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Consultant

Role Overview:

CareFirst is seeking experienced Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Consultants to support both onshore and offshore delivery. The ideal candidates will bring a mix of strong functional knowledge and technical development skills in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and preferably Oracle Cloud SaaS (Fusion Financials). You will play a key role in the support, enhancement, and integration of financial applications, ensuring alignment with business processes and regulatory requirements.

Functional Expertise Required in:

General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
 

Technical Expertise Required in:

Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
BI Publisher / XML Publisher Reporting
PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Workflow Customizations
Building and maintaining interfaces and data conversions
Designing and implementing inbound and outbound integrations with upstream and downstream systems
 

Preferred Experience:

Oracle EBS R12.2.11 or higher (on-premise)
Oracle Cloud SaaS (Fusion Financials) experience is highly desirable
Exposure to SSO (Single Sign-On) and SFTP integrations
Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment
 

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze functional and technical requirements from stakeholders
Configure and support Oracle Financials modules across GL, AP, AR, FA, and FAH
Develop customizations using PL/SQL, OAF, and BI Publisher
Create and maintain integrations with external systems
Perform data conversions and support data migration activities
Troubleshoot functional and technical issues, providing root cause analysis
Participate in system upgrades, testing, patching, and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes and reporting needs
 

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Oracle Financials as a Techno-Functional Consultant
Strong understanding of financial processes and best practices
Experience in Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Cloud Fusion
Excellent communication skills to interact with both business and technical teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
