Job Title: Cobol JCL Developer

Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid onsite 3 days)

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Cobol JCL Developers who can be responsible for the analysis, design, code, testing, and documentation of a major project, combining the expertise of financial institution knowledge with the importance of conceptualizing the programs to be developed based on specifications.

Core Requirements/Technical Skills:

• Operating System: LINUX, UNIX
• Languages: Cobol, JCLs
• Scripting language: Shell Script, PowerShell
• DB: Oracle
• Microfocus, Eclipse

 RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS

• Analyze the requirements,
• Design the better solution aligned as the core banking,
• Create processes/programs to cover the needs and requirements in the analysis phase
• Unit test aligned with the better practices of organization and do the revisions to eliminate errors
• Design and implement tests that will help in the end-to-end quality of major deliverables. Analyze testing results and report issues found,
• Review test results with the team, complete final program documentation
• Prepare the whole documentation to follow the change management process to deploy the processes/programs in production environment,
• Participate in the post-implementation of production processes/programs, ensuring the delivery of the information required for the project,
• Iterate as many times as the organization requires according to the needs of the project, to guarantee the delivery of the information
